About the Company

Reliance Holidays is into tourism. They have a tour management company and three hostels located in Colombo, Mt. Lavinia and Negombo, where they provide accommodations only for the foreigners.

Problem Faced

Reliance Holidays didn’t have a HR department. They didn’t have proper systems to run the tour operations when they got more business.

Solution Given

In year 2015, E&J Management Services approached them and streamlined the entire HR Operation and initiated the HR department. Introduced payroll system and a ERP to run the tour operation and the online hostel bookings. In year 2020 the company faced the lost of tourists due to the Covid-19. But E&J Management Services helped them to convert their operation to provide the services to the locals.

Impact

From year 2015 they were doing extremely well in the tourism field in Sri Lanka, since they got the HR department and the systems in place. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic situation, they are not gone down like other tour companies. With the help of E&J Management Services, all their vehicles which were used for tourism are now doing the office transports with proper safety measures. Their three hostels are converted to give short term stay for the foreigners who work in Sri Lanka.
